This is a fabulous find - a vintage biscuit tin by Geo Bassett & Co which could be used as a workbox once the biscuits had been eaten - recycling at it's best! Inside it has two trays to hold your sewing thread.

The tin measures 15 x 20 x 5cm & is in good condition with some scratches as can be expected.

This issue of 'The Needlewoman' is from February 1937. It contains patterns for sewing, knitting & crochet, including the original iron on transfers to embroider a cushion & nightdress case.

Some of the pages are loose but it is otherwise in good condition.
