Vintage Tins
I can't resist a vintage tin....can you? Perfect for storing little treasures, sewing goodies, sweeties or simply for decoration!
This is a very unusual vintage tin made to resemble a wooden chest of drawers. It was probably made to hold a selection of confectionary but doesn't have a maker's name on it.
The top has an imitation inlaid country scene design while the sides show depictions of birds. All the drawers work & it would be ideal for jewellery or sewing bits & pieces.
The tin measures 23x13x9 cm & is in very good, used condition.
Save for the summer holidays!
What fun!
This is a delightfully illustrated vintage money box with 5 different slots & compartments inside for saving your pennies.
With this tin you can save for 'boat trips', 'sweets', 'donkey rides', 'ice cream' & the 'funfair'.
There is a lock & the key is still with the box.
It is in very good, vintage condition with just a tiny amount of age wear along the edges.
The tin measures 20 x 8.5 x 6cm.
Vintage Cadbury's Tin
Lovely vintage tin originally holding Cadbury's chocolate biscuits.
The lid has a charming Gypsy caravan scene with horses & people.
Inside the lid is printed:
"This tin has been specially designed as a pantry container for two packets of Cadbury's chocolate biscuits.
It will keep your biscuits crisp & fresh."
It measures 26x13cm & is in good vintage condition.
